A younger President like Peter Obi or Omoyele Sowore would have done better, the youth would rally around them – Daddy Freeze
Media personality Daddy Freeze has asserted that a younger president such as Peter Obi or Omoyele Sowore would have performed better than the current government because they would have garnered support from the youth population.
In an Instagram post titled “Nigeria is in trouble,” he communicated with his followers, disclosing his backing of Omoyele Sowore in the 2023 presidential election, while noting that most youths favored Peter Obi.
He expressed the opinion that although Peter Obi or Sowore might not have deviated significantly from President Bola Tinubu’s current actions, they possessed the trust of youths in the Diaspora who would be inclined to invest in Nigeria’s economy.
Daddy Freeze suggested that this trust would have provided a form of comfort during the economic challenges. Furthermore, he stated that they could have mobilized Nigerians, especially those in the Diaspora, to channel billions of dollars into the Nigerian economy.
