Alhaja Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, the daughter of President Bola Tinubu, has appealed to Nigerians for patience regarding her father’s handling of the severe economic challenges in the country.
Addressing reporters after an event at the National Stadium in Surulere on Sunday, February 18, 2024, the Iyaloja General of Lagos State emphasized the importance of maintaining hope. She underscored that the economic downturn is a global issue, affecting not only Nigeria but numerous other nations as well. Tinubu-Ojo urged Nigerians to remain resilient in the face of these challenges.
“My message to all Nigerians is to please exercise a little more patience. Everything will be alright; it’s just a matter of time. We need to keep our hope alive. There is an economic downturn all over the world, and not in Nigeria alone. But we pray Allah will see us through.” she said.
