Pray for Naira, you will see miracles – Shehu Sani tells Christians and Muslims

Former legislator and social commentator Shehu Sani has urged Nigerian Muslims and Christians to pray for a miraculous intervention.

On Wednesday, through his X handle, Sani recommended that followers of both faiths fast if the miracle does not materialize within seven days.

He said, “Muslims should pray for Naira this coming Friday. Christians should pray for Naira on Sunday. You will see miracle on Monday. If you don’t see it, fast for 7 days. If you still don’t see miracle, it means even miracle hath left thee because of thy sins.”

The Naira dropped to N1,740.00 per US Dollar on Tuesday, from N1,660 on Monday, at the parallel market.

However, the turnover of US Dollar supply at Tuesday’s official foreign exchange market surged by 76.61 per cent to $117.32 million as the Naira appreciated marginally.
