”I want this generation to remember me for the truth that I stand for” – Eedris Abdulkareem

Renowned singer Eedris Abdulkareem recently shared his thoughts on how he hopes to be remembered by the new generation of artists and Nigerians as a whole.

During a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, the ‘Jaga Jaga’ artist discussed this topic when co-host Toun Cole posed the question: “How would you love this new generation of artists to remember you?”

Abdulkareem simply replied: “For the truth that I stand for.”

Asked whether he would love to work with any new generation artist, the veteran singer said: “I plan to collaborate with any new generation Nigerian artist that is conscious enough. Yes, Falz.

“Falz is the only conscious artist in this new generation. Who else? If your music is not adding value, no matter how far it goes, I don’t give a damn, because the lifespan is three or four months. You will have to do another song to replace that one. But when the song is evergreen, it will always be evergreen.”
