Sack appointees who fail to deliver – El-Rufai advises Tinubu
Malam Nasir El-Rufai, the ex-governor of Kaduna State, offered counsel to President Bola Tinubu, suggesting that Tinubu should remove any appointees who have not effectively fulfilled their responsibilities.
El-Rufai made these remarks while addressing journalists in Maiduguri on Monday, also advising the president to consider revising certain policies that have not produced the desired outcomes.
“You appointed a person into a position and he is not working according to the expectation, you should have the humility to tell him that I need a better person, go and do something else,” El-Rufai said.
