31-year-old sentenced to 9 years in prison for defiling 7-year-old in Edo State
Sunday Akpeji, 31, has been sentenced to 9 years in prison for defiling a 7-year-old in Igarra, Akoko-Edo, Edo state.
He will also be registered in the sex offenders register.
The news was shared by Priscilla Usiobaifo, the Executive Director of Brave Heart Initiative (BHI) in a post on Facebook as the case was handled by her initiative.
The penalty is still small for the offense he committed, if all those evil men or women could be punished for atrocities it will reduce to bearest minimal. Good for him.
