Southern Kaduna Killings: we are looking at purchasing drones and installing CCTV’s – El-Rufai
Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai has revealed that his government is looking into addressing the technology side of security as they have plans of purchasing drones and installing CCTV’s in areas affected by the recent killings in southern Kaduna.
El-rufai made this known after meeting with the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Revd. Supo Ayokunle, and other CAN leaders in Kaduna on Monday, August 17.
“Since last month, the state government and security agencies have been working to contain an upsurge in violence and needless killings in parts of the state. We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives in a totally unnecessary frenzy of communal attacks, reprisals and revenge, he said
“While we mourn the dead, our immediate focus remains to stop the cycle of attacks and reprisals. We remain committed to ending the legacy of violence that has blighted the state for 40 years, needlessly taken many lives and curtailed the life chances of others.
“We will continue to support the security agencies to restore calm in the affected communities. Over the last five years, we have invested heavily in the security sector. We have consistently provided vehicles and other logistics support to the security agencies that are deployed in the state.
“We are also addressing the technology side of security, through the procurement of drones, the award of contracts to install CCTVs in phases in Kaduna, Kafanchan and Zaria metropolitan areas, build a command and control centre and establish a forensic laboratory, ” he added

All these are long grammar by Governor El Rufai. They should learn to stop playing politics with issues that are concerned with human lives
No one was created in this world for another person to kill him or her
If the so called governor El Rufai was killed years ago, he wouldn’t have been governor of Kaduna state today
Let him make hare while the sun shines and do all it takes immediately to stop this madness of killing in southern Kaduna and Kaduna in general without any more delay
Enough of all these long grammar
All we want now is action

It’s not under must for you (governor el rufai) to reveal the next decision to the masses or news men, at least you should have kept next steps to yourself. All the same it’s a welcome development.
That is an advanced idea,it will help in a way in fostering security.
I’m wondering why none of those people terrorising southern kaduna have not been apprehended. Where is our securities personnel? What are they doing to rescue these victims? Why can’t you find out those sponsoring these people? etc. Buy it and let’s see what it’s going to happen.
