Self-acclaimed Pastor kills native doctor in Anambra state
A self-acclaimed pastor, Mr Uchenna Chukwuma, 21 has reportedly killed a native doctor with a machete in Umusiome, Nkpor, in Idemili North local government area of Anambra State.
According to Uchenna, he was sent by God to kill the 60-year-old victim, Oliver Chukwudi because he was disturbing him spiritually.
The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna Mohammed who disclosed the incident said the suspect has been arrested.
“The Suspect who hails from Amagunze in Nkanu East LGA of Enugu State claimed during interrogation that he was sent by God to kill the native doctor. He further alleged that the victim was disturbing him spiritually and has not allowed him to progress financially.
“There was a report on the 3/9/2020 at about 2:10pm of the murder of a native doctor, one Oliver Chukwudi Ugwu ‘m’ aged 60 years of Umusiome, Nkpor but hails from Umuavor village Abor in Udi LGA of Enugu State.
“The victim was murdered by a self-acclaimed pastor, one Uchenna Chukwuma ‘m’ aged 21 years of Ugwuezue Street, Umusiome Nkpor in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State.
“Police detectives attached to Ogidi Division led by the DPO, CSP Ekuri Remigius visited the scene of the crime and rushed the victim who was found in a pool of his blood to Iyi Enu hospital Ogidi for medical attention where he was certified dead by the medical doctor on arrival. The corpse was deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy.”
This is serious. Can God actually send someone on this type of mission? I dont think.
Why is it that the heart of the people nowadays is like stone that has no feelings at all. Taking a machete and other weapons and go to the victim house and killed him, this is pathetic. What I think is that, that boy because I won’t call him man or man of God, is a devil and they must allow him to get away with it.
Can we call this man of God or pastor? Who ordained him or he ordained himself? Police should interrogate him very well because this might not be his first time of committing this type of crime, as he looks like self he looks like hardened criminal. More so, they should not allow him to evade justice because there are so many Injustice in this country, that is the reason we incessant crime because they know that they might get away with it. Police should not allow him to evade justice.
Well may almight God forgive and accept his soul…Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

It’s true God can use him to kill human being like him. But i believe the god that sent him is already waiting for him at the court. I think the god we be the judge to send him by hanging and the same god we be waiting for him. That’s my contribution.

I laugh in igbo. I like the word used in the report “self-claimed pastor”. How can God who ask us not to murder tell a man to go kill a fellow man. That voice must have been from the devil.
