2023 Presidency: I can build a 20th century economy for Nigeria – Orji Kalu
Senate Chief Whip and former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu says he is capable of taking the job of president.
Speaking during a programme at a radio station in Umuahia, Abia state capital, Kalu made it known that if he is given the opportunity to be president, he will build a 20th century economy for Nigeria.
“Yes, if you give me the presidency, why not, I will take. I am capable of doing the job.
“The problem is who is capable of doing the job. For now, I am focusing on my constituency; there is a lot of job to be done.
“If you give me opportunity, I will like to go back to the Senate for a second term, but if the people of Nigeria want me to be president, they will show the hand. I can do the job. I can build a 20th century economy for our people.” he said
That’s one of the issues we are facing in this country, at least you have once ruled your State, can you pay point what you have done for them in terms of their economy in your State? Are they still enjoying the legacy you laid? What have you done for your people as a senator representing your constituent? You should highlight your achievement before hoping for next position.

Why waiting to become a president before you can profer solution to Nigeria economy problems. Are you not part of the crew that is piloting the affairs of the country now? That means everyone (politicians) of you intentionally punishing Nigerians with your selfishness attitude without considering those that you are governing. You are part of them now, why can’t come up with ideas that Wii be a benefit to us. May God help us in this country.

We have heard you Sir Orji Uzor Kalu, but the funny aspect of all these talks is that it has been long we have been hearing all these promises from you politicians still no one comes to pass.

We Nigerian can never trust you sir, is not may be we hate you or don’t want you to be president, is just that that’s how you people normally say and change your promise later when you emerge. Look at current administration now, President Muhammadu Buhari make a big promise to Nigerians and he failed. He has been contesting for like three times and loose he see it asive Nigeria don’t want him and is not like that, people that witness his previous government know how he rule then. But he later win the fourth one when nigeria consider him. He has already disappointed Nigeria. So Man Orji Kalu you can wait for God to choose you. Thank you.
