I have spoken with Buhari, he has begun processes to a reform – Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo

The Ghanaian Government has reacted to the shooting of protesters in the Lekki area of Lagos state on Tuesday, October 20.

President Nana Akufo-Addo in a series of tweets via his official Twitter handle said he has spoken to President Muhammadu Buhari regarding a peaceful dialogue with the youths.

“I have spoken with President Buhari, who is committed to this end and has begun the processes that will lead to reform,” he said.

Akufo-Addo shared that he is joining all well-meaning persons in calling for calm, and the use of dialogue in resolving the #EndSARS impasse in Nigeria as he was of the opinion that violence, be it on the part of the police or protesters, cannot be the solution.

He also expressed his sincere condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

  1. That’s good of you and you are truly a leader, if president buhari could listen things would have not degenerated to this extent, he just sat down without address the nation.

  2. Why are you convincing him? Why not let him bee, he is deaf and dump, he is very stubborn, a useless President that can not address his citizen.

  3. I don’t think our president is democratic one, he is very adamant and he doesn’t want to listen to any advice from the people because if he does things would have improved before this Time.

  4. If he had listen to Nigerians it would have been better, democracy is all about government of the people, by the people and for the people but president buhari administration is just like an anarchy that didn’t want to listen to anyone except his own decisions. I hope it will not too late.

  5. What process did you see or are you seeing? If you know this government and there promise and fail you won’t be talking this way.
