Adeboye declares 30-day Prayer and Fasting for Nigeria

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has directed members of his congregation to begin a 30-day fasting and prayer for Nigeria.

This was revealed by RCCG Assistant General Overseer, Admin and Personnel, Johnson Odesola, in a statement in Ibadan, Oyo State, yesterday.

According to him, the programme tagged, “Fasting and prayer for Nigeria” would start from November 1. Marathon fasting will hold between November 1 and 14 for those who prefer that. Prayer guide shall be forwarded soon, he said

“Where possible, brethren should be encouraged to come together for prayers while ensuring that all COVID-19 government regulations and safety precautions are put in place,” he added

    Gone are the days we suffer ourselves to fast for a country that doesn’t care for her Citizens, anyways anybody that wants to fast should fast nah.

    We jux pray God listen,have mercy on us and grand our heart desires.
    Bcos the condition of the country is not friend at all.

    1. No be only fasting, fasting for Nigeria is just you are stressing your self, is better not to die with hunger. Pastor adeboye…. you can pray and do the fasting only don’t include me please.

  4. The ordinary people are busy praying while the politicians are busy looting…in fact church leaders are part of the problem… Take it to bank …no amount of prayer can change the narrative… The country is filled with innocent blood.
