Stop Tagging Friday as “Black Friday”, it is a holy day for Muslims – Kano Hisbah warns Cool FM

Kano Hisbah has reportedly written a notice to the Cool FM branch in the state demanding that they stop tagging Friday as ‘Black Friday’ ahead of its “Black Friday Sales” which is expected to be hold today November 27.

In a letter addressed from the Sharia Police, majority of Kano residents are Muslims and consider Friday a holy day.

They further disclosed that Hisbah corps will be “around for surveillance purposes” with a view of avoiding any occurrence of immoral activities at the event as well as maintain peace, harmony and stability in the state.

  1. Do we have another government from the the one on the throne or another set of people is ruling in because I don’t understand this ishba at all

  2. What do they mean by writing that letter to that organization? Telling them to stop black Friday, if they tag Friday as black, does it mean that bad will be happened on that day?

  3. Ignorance is a disease which hard to be cure. Can someone explain the meaning to them, so that they will understand what it means.
