Boko Haram insurgents get their weapons from Security Operatives – Donald Duke
Former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke has alleged that Boko Haram Insurgents get their weapons from Security Operatives.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Duke claimed that most of the weapons used by these insurgents come Nigeria’s armoury.
Duke called on the federal government to investigate the security forces and flush out the bad eggs, he further advised that the soldiers and policemen in the North East be motivated to produce good results.
“Boko Haram insurgents who have been responsible for most heinous crimes, get their weapons from the security operatives.
“Most of the weapons used by Boko Haram come from our armoury, we will need to look into that. Why are we selling weapons to the enemy?,”
“I think the soldiers in the Northeast are under-motivated, the government should motivate them.
“We need to task them on intelligence gathering. More of intelligence than firepower. Also, by now, we need to develop a strategy on kidnap. Are the police properly motivated? I doubt it, and they don’t have enough weaponry, he said

What would be the reason for security operatives to sell out amunitions to terrorist
This is so sad for the country like Nigeria not to be able to curb bokoharam, instead of fishing out those who is financing them, they are busy freez the account of end SARS protesters.
I think those in power are aware or having hand in sponsoring these bokoharam we are talking about if not, this thing would have be of past history.
There are some questions need to be asked? Who is providing food, shelter, weapons and mostly financial backing for them? If our government can answer all these. The problem will be solved.
Federal government should the thoroughful investigation on this issue of those who is sponsor bokoharam, if care is not taking they will wipe out the entire country.

This is very true these people have strong backup from a security operative sorry that they supply them with ammunition and even information on how to evacuate their point of operation before they are even attacked
