“Women are not rehabilitation centres for badly raised men” – Betty Akeredolu reacts to reconciliation of Channels TV staff with his wife

Ondo state first lady, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has reacted to reports of the reconciliation of Channels TV reporter, Pius Angbo and his wife, Dr. Ifeyinwa.

Dr. Ifeyinwa over the weekend shared a video online in which she accused her husband Pius, a Channels TV correspondent based in Benue, of constantly violating her in their six years of marriage.

On Monday, December 7, Benue state governor, Samuel Ortom, intervened and reconciled the couple. Reacting to the development via her social media handle, Mrs. Akeredolu said it is the responsibility of mothers to raise their sons to respect women adding that wives are not the rehabilitation centers for their ”badly raised husbands”.

She went on to ask if there wouldn’t be any consequences for the man’s beastly act.

  1. This man is not supposed to just go scot free like that after committing these heinous crimes
He is supposed to be dealt with accordingly and severely so that other stupid men like him will take caution..o

  2. This man should have been taken to police station to write a statement that he won’t touch her anymore and if he does he will be charged for assault.

  3. Raising your hands and use it to beat your wife often and often is very ridiculous, he needs to be counselling because being a doctor doesn’t mean you have the marriage knowledge.

  4. I hope he will think twice before before taking any steps by beating her again after the prominent have talking to him and settle the fighting for them.
