Nigeria will have 110m Poor People by end of 2020 – Peter Obi
Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi says at the end of the year, 110million Nigerians will be poor.
He made this known on Friday in Awka, the Anambra State capital during a PDP Southeast Summit ahead of the 2023 general elections. According to him, 8 million out of the 110 million will be youths.
“Your country is drifting, it is collapsing. And if you don’t do anything, it will set its revenge on you,” Obi said.
“The World Bank released a report, go and read that report. This year alone, 11 million Nigerians will fall into poverty.
“The 11 million is on top of the 100 million that is already there. That means by the end of this year, Nigeria will have over 110 million people living in poverty. It is important to know that of this 11 million person falling into poverty, eight million are youths.”
You people are just talking about poverty here and there but doing nothing about it. It’s only God can help us with the intervention of good people among us.
Those leaders do not have the interest of our country because if they do, we won’t have the problem we are facing now.
The PDP is the party party ruling your region, what is their contribution in their region to alleviate poverty don’t just thrash.

All of you are not human being because you didn’t value the citizens at all, the way you are treating us is very bad. All of you need change the habit of embezzling the money that meant for project.
You are not ashamed saying this. Have you not been part of the government. I think you have been and invariably have been among the ones who impoverished the people
You should stop talking as if you are a saint afterall all politicians are the same
Each and everyone of them is the cause of our problems…..God will judge themwiththere behavior……
