“Buhari should refund public funds used to treat him in London” – Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri has asked President Buhari to refund to the treasury, public funds used in treating him in London following the President’s order to the CBN not to give any forex to food importers.
The government critic, however agreed with the President’s directive to the Central Bank Of Nigeria (CBN) not to release any money for food importation, in a tweet via his personal handle on Wednesday also asked Buhari not to also release forex for medical tourism’
He wrote;
“I agree with General Buhari that CBN should not give forex to food importers
“And if that is the case, they should also not give money to those going for healthcare in the UK.
“@MBuhari should refund public funds used to treat him in London to the treasury.”
That is true… He should also refund it cuz aso rock medical practional also collect billions of naira yearly and they were doing nothing…..
How is that possible? I think there’s provision for such in our constitution for political office holders unless the law has been changed which I doubt it.
He may not necessarily for him to refund the money but henceforth, the money for foreign trip for medical reasons should not be granted by the CBN again.
Not only food he should ban, he should also ban whatever things we are producing that in Nigeria i.e tell the national assembly to buy made in Nigeria car.
Change begins with me, the changes should begin from our leaders by not patronizing foreign medical hospital and so on which I know frànkly that they can’t do it.
We can say the president should return the money used in treating him is not good enough but the thing is I thought a bill was passed that stopped all these high-ranking politicians from travelling abroad for treatment
When it concerns them its OK, but when it concerns the people that vote them into that office they will claim they are protecting the economy. Buhari keep rolling out policies that are not working. Let him not refund the money let him resign
