“You will make efforts to succeed in Nigeria and the system will still bring you down”- EndSARS frontliner, Rinu laments
An EndSARS frontliner, Rinu has lamented over the country’s failing system. Rinu’s bank account and that of other protesters were frozen by the Central Bank and were tagged terrorists as claimed in a court order the apex bank obtained.
Rinu in a tweet she shared via her Twitter handle wondered how she would be able to write her exams after being tagged a terrorist when all she did was demand accountability from the leaders of her Nation.
She tweeted;
“How do I write exams after being tagged a terrorist whose only crime is demanding accountability from the leaders of her nation? Responsibility comes with great consequences but I am not afraid. I am only disappointed that the system is failing me.
“Let’s be very honest. Is Nigeria not a zoo?You will make every possible effort to succeed in Nigeria, and the system will also make equal gigantic efforts to bring you down”
that is true but this system is very bad to the core…
The part of the problem we use to have is that our leaders celebrate mediocre not knowledge any more that is why we are failing as a nation.
You don’t need to be discouraged, only time will tell sooner or later you will surely be vindicated.
Don’t know that on Nigeria when you are not ready to join them, they will do everything to frustrate you, God will surely vindicate you.
I don’t know what is wrong with this administration, when they can’t tackle those sponsoring bokoharam they are threatening those demanding for justice. What a country!
Peaceful protest is the right of the citizen in any civil society and shutting citizens up from protesting when their rights are trampled on is barbaric. On what ground is government freezing their accounts and tagging them terrorists. If its so, Buhari should be tagged a terrorist because he led a protest during Jonathan administration.
True talk, that’s Nigeria for everybody in the country.
