“I don’t wish my enemy such” – Edo Immigration spokesperson regains freedom, narrates how kidnappers sold her to another gang

The spokesperson of the Edo State Command of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Mrs Bridget Esene, who was abducted by unknown gunmen has been released.

According to her, she was kidnapped by five armed men who trailed her to her church at Ikhueniro, a community in Benin City on Sunday January 24 and was released at about 4p.m. on Tuesday, January 26.

“I was forced into the car and driven out of the church premises by the five gunmen who later sold me to another set of kidnappers who are suspected herdsmen. The armed men later took me into the forest and some other hardened kidnappers were on ground to receive me. I was later sold to another set of gunmen who then took her deeper into the forest,” she was quoted as saying

She however failed to reveal if a ransom was paid or not for her release. However, a family source, claimed that ransom was paid to secure her release but didn’t disclose the amount.

  1. She won’t disclose wether the ransom was paid or because he public office holder and as well as security agent.

  2. This country has become something else, I’m not surprised when kidnapper is being kidnapped by other kidnappers, does it not serious?
