Power should go to South in 2023 — Governor Zulum

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has lent his voice to the zoning of Presidency to the South come 2023.

Zulum speaking at the presentation of a book by Dakuku Perterside, former director-general of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), noted that it was time for Nigeria to do the right thing and that every part of the country should be given a sense of belonging.

He said: “The issue of power rotation is a covenant between us hence the need to shift the power to the south.”

“With the way things are currently going on in the country, it’s obvious that we have to try something different in 2023.

“However, I would advise that the ruling party, APC keeps this at heart whenever they decide to nominate a candidate. Let’s give others a chance to rule too,” he added
