Zamfara college discloses escape of two abducted employees, student escaped

The Deputy Provost of the management of the College of Agriculture and Animal Science, Bakura, Zamfara State, Ali Atiku, while speaking to newsmen on Monday has revealed that two members of staff and one student have escaped from the kidnappers’ den.

Gunmen suspected to be bandits had attacked the school on Sunday night and engaged security operatives in a gun duel before abducting some students.

Atiku also confirmed that two security watchmen attached to the school were murdered during the attack.

He said, “Two staff and one student escaped from the bandits after they kidnapped them and returned to the school early this morning.

“As I am talking to you now, we have formally discovered that the bandits have kidnapped 15 students all of them male, three women and one person who are also our staff and killed two of our security watchmen.”
