We will rather die than to lose to Super Eagles – Guinea Bissau captain vows

Captain of the Guinea Bissau national team, Jonas Azevedo Mendes has vowed that they would rather ‘die’ than lose to the Super Eagles in the ongoing AFCON, 2021

The Match between Guinea Bissau and Nigeria is scheduled to hold Tonight. Mendes, who is the team’s first-choice goalkeeper said they will be out in full force to battle the Super Eagles for a victory.

When asked if there was any particular player in the Eagles team they were targeting, Mendes said, “we know Nigeria is a good team. It will be a mistake to target any particular player. We are facing all of them with equal attention,” he said.
