”Can we call it Goodluck Jonathan bridge?”- Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, replies Twitter user who protested against the naming of the Second Niger Bridge after President Buhari

Bashir Ahmad, the personal assistant to President Buhari on New Media, has replied to a Twitter user who was against the naming of the second Niger Bridge after President Buhari.

The 1.6km Bridge was started by the Goodluck Jonathan administration and is currently being worked on by the Buhari administration and might be completed before 2023.

Bashir had in a tweet revealed that the bridge has been renamed the Muhammadu Buhari Bridge. This however did not go down well with a Nigerian who pointed out that it can never be named after the President as it was initiated by Goodluck Jonathan. Bashir however stood his ground noting that nothing will change their decision.
