The Government cannot address unemployment, we can only create the enabling environment to allow employment to happen – Fayemi

Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi has said that it is not the job of the Government to address unemployment.

while speaking during a Question and Answer session at a political gathering in Abuja on Wednesday, the PDP Presidential hopeful expressed that the job of the Government is to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive which will in turn allow employment to happen

“It is not the job of the government to address unemployment, it is our job to create the enabling environment to allow employment to happen. We will create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and then these businesses will create jobs in the process.”he said
