Nwajiuba resigns as Buhari orders Ministers with electoral ambitions to resign

President Muhammadu has directed ministers with presidential ambitions to resign immediately.

The President gave the directive on Wednesday at the Federal Executive Council meeting.

He also asked those with other ambitions or contesting for various positions to resign

Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba has since tendered his resignation and was applauded by the President for his bravery.

Other ministers to follow suit includes: The minister of state for petroleum, Timipre Sylva, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi among others
