Uju Anya: The world should know that Biafrans will not forgive the family of the late Queen – IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has applauded Prof. Uju Anya over her remarks on the late Queen Elizabeth of England, stating that her views on the late Queen and the British Government convey the opinion of over 98 per cent of the people of Biafra.

Uju Anya in a controversial tweet she shared wished the Queen Excruciating pain. Reacting to this, the group stated that it did not know the person called Uju Anya until her viral comment and counter comments on Twitter.

In a statement by IPOB spokesman Emma Powerful, the pains and scars of the Biafran genocide in which he claimed the Queen played a role in, are certain to live with every man or woman with Igbo blood.

The statement reads: “British Government and its allies, under the leadership of Queen Elizabeth, supplied military equipment and manpower to Nigeria to wipe out Biafrans. They used their propaganda media, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), to label Biafrans rebels and prevented any assistance to them.

“As a result, many Biafrans were killed, including the family members of Uju. The world should know that Biafrans, both young and old, would not forgive the late Queen and the British people, especially the politicians, unless the British Government allows Biafrans to regain their sovereignty through referendum,” it added.
