The political class think they own Nigeria, this nonsense must stop – Aisha Yesufu

Aisha Yesufu, has reacted to Governor Charles Soludo’s attack on the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, saying the political class think they own Nigeria.

Yesufu in a tweet she shared said the citizens must take hold of the power that belongs to them.

Soludo had in a lengthy essay on Monday expressed that Obi will not win the presidential election

Reacting to this, Yesufu said the nonsense must stop

In her words: “The political class think they own Nigeria. Their arrogance is out of this world. Even during elections, they do not hide their disdain for the citizens.

“The nonsense must stop. Citizens must take hold of the power that belongs to the people.

“Suddenly, Charles Soludo @CCSoludo has forgotten that he had to leave PDP to win the gubernatorial election in Anambra State. Power is sweet!

“You didn’t ask your friends in PDP why they didn’t think power should go to the South?”
