I’m glad that as a mentor I haven’t let you down – Don Jazzy reacts as Davido acknowledges him as his mentor

Music Executive, Don Jazzy has responded to the praises he received from popular Afrobeats singer, Davido.

During an interview with YouTuber Tayo Aina, Davido discussed his growth in the music industry and his encounter with Don Jazzy.

Reflecting on his first meeting with Don Jazzy, Davido expressed admiration for the music executive, stating that it took courage to be in his presence.

He said, “Don Jazzy was my mentor. I remember the first time I saw him, it felt like I was looking at Jesus. It was truly amazing.”

Don Jazzy, in response, shared the video of the interview on his Instagram page and wrote, “And that’s how life is, @davido. Now I look at all you have achieved, and I’m super proud of you. Even with all that success and wealth, I admire your work ethic, and it motivates me greatly. I’m glad that as a mentor, I haven’t let you down either. We thank God. More blessings, bro.”
