Shun entertainment that competes with God – Mike Bamiloye’s son warns Christians against BBNaija, others

Joshua, son of Mount Zion Drama Ministry’s founder, Mike Bamiloye, has issued a warning to Christians about avoiding any form of entertainment that becomes a rival to their devotion to God.

He expressed concerns that being addicted to entertainment such as football or excessive movie-watching puts individuals in the same category as viewers of the Big Brother Naija reality show. According to him, the show contains immoral scenes and lacks productivity, much like a significant portion of today’s entertainment content.

Bamiloye highlighted that football enthusiasts who skip church fellowship for a match or check live scores during religious services should be cautious when criticizing BBNaija viewers.

Taking to his Twitter handle, he emphasized that anything that competes with God for one’s heart should be a cause for concern. Joshua urged Christians to prioritize God in their lives, and he believed that this would manifest in the wisdom they apply when handling various entertainment contents.
