Corps Member Minister of Art, Hannatu Musawa under fire over NYSC certificate 

Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, is facing criticism over allegations of not possessing a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate. On Thursday, the NYSC Management verified that the minister is currently an active corps member.

The Director of Press and Public Relations at NYSC informed The Cable that she is indeed in service. The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) had expressed concern about Musawa’s lack of an NYSC certificate.

Notably, Musawa was one of the 45 ministers inaugurated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday following Senate confirmation.
