Pray for the success of President Tinubu – Minister of Environment, Salako tells Nigerians

Minister of Environment, Ishaq Salako, has urged Nigerians to pray for the successful implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reform programs for the country’s sustainable development.

Speaking at the 69th Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Nigeria annual Islamic conference in Ilaro, Ogun State, Salako emphasized the role of Muslims in climate change advocacy. Quoting the Quran on ozone layer preservation, he stressed the responsibility of conscious Muslims to protect the environment.

Salako highlighted President Tinubu’s reform program, focusing on environmental sustainability, including the reduction of fossil fuel emissions through electric vehicles and CNG buses. The minister assured that the government is committed to environmental protection within its available resources.
