Actress Uche Ogbodo has expressed the view that it’s acceptable for a man to request his wife to fry plantain for him shortly after she suffered the loss of her father.

The statement came in response to a shared story by an X user narrating how his father, upon returning home after his mother’s father passed away, asked her to prepare plantain for him, seemingly overlooking the emotional distress she was experiencing. Uche defended the father’s actions, stating that there is no inherent issue with his request.
