Hike in fuel price has reduced number of visitors to Daura – Buhari expresses satisfaction

Former President Muhammadu Buhari disclosed the reason behind his satisfaction when President Bola Tinubu raised the petrol pump price on May 29, 2023.

Buhari explained that the decision led to a decrease in the number of visitors he received in his hometown, Daura, Katsina State.

Speaking at the inaugural Katsina Dialogue organized by the Katsina Consultative Forum, held at the Presidential Banquet Hall of the Katsina Government House, Buhari expressed his joy in Hausa language, citing that the fuel price hike resulted in a reduction of visits to him in Daura.
