Hisbah arrests Tiktoker for allegedly promoting lesbianism

The Kano State Hisbah Board has detained yet another prominent TikToker, Ramlat Princess, over allegations of sharing content promoting lesbianism on her TikTok account.

The arrest occurred on the night of Thursday, February 15, 2024. This development follows the apprehension and confinement of another contentious TikToker, Murja Kuna.

The Sharia police verified the arrest via a video posted on its official TikTok channel. Ramlat Princess, recognized for her audacious content, had recently uploaded a video endorsing lesbianism, triggering widespread outcry on social media, particularly within Kano State.

In the video, she boldly asserted that her future husband must allow her to date other women.  I am a full-pledged lesbian. Lesbianism is a beautiful act that I can’t do without, she declared in the video.
