Prominent activist Aisha Yesufu has confronted individuals demanding an apology from her for leading the campaign that removed former President Goodluck Jonathan from office.

Yesufu reiterated that those who supported President Buhari’s election made a significant contribution to the country, as the current state of affairs clearly demonstrates that 2018 was far superior to 2023.

She emphasized that the deterioration of President Buhari’s second term compared to his first should not be dismissed as insignificant. According to her, it should not serve as an endorsement of the notion that rewarding failure leads to further decline.

She wrote on X,: “Jonathan’s administration collected a loan of $460m to install CCTV in Abuja and there was no CCTV and you are calling on fellow citizens to apologize for voting out Jonathan.
And you do not see that you are worse than Jonathan, Buhari and Tinubu combined?
Our way far!!!!”
