Nigerian actress, Etinosa Idemudia has shared the reason she thinks couples whose courtships were longer, get divorced a year after tying the knot.
She said these short-lived marriages are caused by unrealistic expectations. According to her, there is no significant difference between marriage and courtship other than the formalities, adding that many people tend to ignore the red flags during the courtship period due to their desire to get married and after the deed is done, they realize that it was not even worth the stress.
