‘I do not hate Buhari, I detest his leadership style’ – Ezekwesili

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili says she does not hate President Muhammadu Buhari, but detests his leadership style.

She stated this in a series of tweets she shared via her Twitter handle where she condemned the incumbent leader for taking sides on the matter of insecurity in the country.

She expressed that President Buhari lacked the unifying leadership Nigeria needs at this time, expressing that his actions have “deepened gullies of disagreement and disaffection among people, ethnicities, regions, religions and classes.”

The former Minister also took a swipe at the leadership of the National Assembly, stating that they have shown little power in calling the President to order.

She wrote;

“They would have you believe we speak about bad governance record of @MBuhari because one is “bitter towards him” and “hate him so much”.

No, I neither hate nor at all bitter towards the person of @NGRPresident .

But I totally detest everything of his leadership style.

I do.✍🏾

“The country Nigeria is most dangerously sitting on a tinderbox at this time because @NGRPresident @MBuhari lacks the minutest modicum of “The-Leader -as-Unifier” in his leadership style.

We all should condemn his proclivity for fanning the embers of ethnic conflicts. It is BAD.

“I have little faith in the leadership of the @nassnigeria to call the @NGRPresident to order. They have proven themselves to be absolute lackeys and genuflecting sycophants of @MBuhari .

Citizens better get ready to take up responsibility for steadying our tottering country.✍🏾

  1. The president is the one at fault, even if those aids are deceiving him, as long as he is living in the country, is he deaf? Or are we having deaf president? I’m tired ooooo.

  2. If everyone of you can bombard him with series of letter maybe he will listen to Nigerians and answer our yearnings.

  3. I don’t understand what our NASS are doing in assembly, they are just sitting down and busy talking without meaningful outcome, all our present leaders are wicked.

  4. If anybody speaks about bad governance, the person will be the victims of Garba sheu and co. The situation we found ourselves presently in this country is pathetic.
