New Service Chiefs: “Don’t rejoice yet” – Dino Melaye tells Nigerians
Former senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye has urged Nigerians not to rejoice yet over the appointment of new service chiefs.
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, appointed new service chiefs after several calls for sack of previous ones owing to increasing insecurity in the country.
Though the presidency noted that the replacement of the Service Chiefs wasn’t as a result of the spate of insecurity in the country but the president just felt it was the best time to remove the security heads and appoint new ones.
Reacting to this Melaye in a tweet asked Nigerians to rather be very observant than rejoice.
“Do not shout Hallelujah or Alhamdulilihi for the locomotive announcement of new service chiefs. Not Uhuru yet. Shine your eyes Nigerians, he tweeted
Yes na, who knows wether they will be worst than the previous ones. Is better we seat back and observe them rather then rejoice.
