Boko Haram terrorists reportedly abduct travellers along Damaturu-Maiduguri road

Some travellers were on Wednesday May 26, abducted by Boko Haram terrorists along the Damaturu-Maiduguri Road.

According to report, the incident occurred at about 9am, two hours after the expiration of it’s curfew. The insurgents mounted a roadblock around Mainok town, roughly 55 kilometers away from Maiduguri.

Upon arrival, they reportedly opened fire on commuting vehicles some of which escaped, but an unlucky passenger bus drove into the hands of the criminals who had by then mounted a checkpoint.
