“You’re an elder for nothing” – Igbokwe blasts Abaribe for wearing ‘Dot nation’ shirt
Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rebuked Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe for wearing the “Dot nation” T-shirt.
Abaribe was spotted wearing ‘The Dot Nation’ T-shirt, which emerged after President Muhammadu Buhari referred to Igbos as “a dot in a circle”.
Igbokwe described Abaribe as an ethnic bigot and an elder for nothing for wearing a shirt with such inscription.
Following Buhari’s controversial comment, many Igbos particularly youths have continued to register their grievances, condemning the president for making such a description.
Many of the aggrieved Igbos, particularly the Biafra secession agitators, have customized their T-shirts with the inscription ‘The Dot Nation’ in anticipation of Biafra.
Reacting, Igbokwe in a post on Facebook described the senate Minority Leader as an “elder for nothing.”
He wrote: “A Senator and an ethnic bigot, an elder for nothing.
“The blood of those policemen and the uninformed youths killed in the South-East will be accounted for in the fullness of time, We cannot be mad all the time.”
What do we expect you to say after all you are one of the chieftaincy in the APC
For a sitting president to said a region is a dot, is that good?
How is this concern you wether he wore the dot nation shirt or not
All these chiefs in APC are problem, they don’t even see any lapses in the present administration, all is well for them
misplaced of priorities……….. everyone has opinions on everything………….
