People called me a devil, wished me dead for teaching prosperity – Oyedepo

General Overseer of Living faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo has recounted how people hated him for teaching about prosperity.

Speaking during a sermon at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State on the theme “Blood of Sprinkling Service” on Sunday, Oyedepo said he was called a devil while others wished him death.

He further stated that those major attackers have now written books on prosperity.

He said;

“I was a devil teaching prosperity, people were grieved, they wished I died. Now, everybody including the major attackers are now writing on prosperity. True leaders see ahead of others, every God-ordained leader is a pacesetter.”
