Reform of petroleum industry critical to Nigeria’s economy – Shehu Sani

Former Lawmaker, Shehu Sani has reacted to the planned reform on the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC. He said it is critical for the survival of the Country’s economy and future.

Sani in a tweet commended the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Mele Kyari, the ”rebirth” of the company

His tweet read: “Reform in the petroleum industry is critical to the economic survival and future of Nigeria. The rebirth of the state firm as a limited liability company is unprecedented, important and commendable.

“Kudos to the GMD and the Minister. Repositioning it to post-oil Nigeria is the next step.”
