Guber Elections: I still do not believe in INEC – Atiku Abubakar

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has expressed that he still does not believe in the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to do better in the ongoing governorship and state house of assembly elections than it did on February 25 when it conducted the presidential election

Atiku made the remark around noon Saturday after casting his vote at his Ajiya Ward voting unit in Jimeta, Yola, stressing that he still has no confidence in INEC.

He said the commission has since taken no steps to make him believe that this round of elections will be better conducted

Atiku said, “I still don’t believe in INEC. I have seen nothing up to now to believe that their performance will be better in how they handle this election than the last one.”
