BREAKING: Buhari’s ex-humanitarian affairs minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq arrives EFCC office

The ex-Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has reported to the premises of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Farouq is currently under investigation regarding the alleged laundering of N37,170,855,753.44 facilitated by a contractor named James Okwete.

She wrote on social media on Monday morning, “I have, at my behest, arrived at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to honour the invitation by the anti-graft agency to offer clarifications in respect of some issues that the commission is investigating.”
