Pastor John Anosike conveyed to his church members and leaders that they should demonstrate their “honour” towards him by presenting their first fruits. The pastor addressed the congregation on the contentious topic of first fruits, traditionally defined as giving one’s entire first salary of the year (January salary) to the church.
Pastor Anosike informed his followers that the first fruit was intended for him personally, not for the church. He further asserted that those who comply and offer their first fruits to him would witness remarkable outcomes by the middle of the year; otherwise, he pledged to refund their money.
