Sex Tape Scandal: ‘I lost N400m endorsement deals’– Oxlade

Afro-pop artist Ikuforiji Olaitan, better known as Oxlade, has disclosed that he suffered a loss of endorsement deals exceeding N400 million following the leakage of a sex tape involving him.

Recalling the incident, which occurred in February 2022 when Oxlade’s intimate footage with an unidentified woman surfaced on Snapchat

Speaking on the Afrobeats Intelligence Podcast’s latest episode, Oxlade revealed that he had been subjected to blackmail with the video before its leakage. He expressed a sense of relief when the tape became public, as it put an end to the extortion attempts he had been facing.

Nevertheless, Oxlade acknowledged that the scandal took a toll on his family, mental well-being, and his brand.
