Ondo Guber: I know a stingy man among the contestants. Tell him that he is wasting his time – Cleric, Giwa tells Ondo people

Adewale Giwa, Senior Pastor of Awaiting the Second Coming of Christ Ministry, has urged residents of the state to avoid supporting politicians known for their stinginess in the upcoming gubernatorial election. He emphasized that electing such individuals would hinder the state’s development.

Speaking in Akure, the state capital, Giwa emphasized that the state cannot afford to endure the challenges it faced over the past seven years. He further advised gubernatorial aspirants whose intentions are solely focused on exploiting the state’s resources to withdraw from the race.

“I know a stingy man among the contestants. I know him very well; he is now spending money by force just because he wants to get the ticket to the party. Tell him that he is wasting his time.

“People know him. He is only pretending. If he gets what he wants, the state will suffer for another six years. He’s too parsimonious. We don’t need such material to be governors in Ondo State.

“We need a politician who can take the state back to the days of Baba Adebayo Adefarati, Mimiko and Dr. Olusegun Agagu.

“Stingy people find it hard to give or lend money to others. They take more and give less. If they want something from you, they spend it. After they get what they want, they show their true colours.”
