87 kidnapped in fresh attack in Kaduna

A minimum of 87 individuals have been abducted in a recent assault allegedly carried out by terrorists in the Kajuru-Station community, situated in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State on the night of Sunday, March 17.

The assailants reportedly raided the village, forcibly entered shops, and looted food supplies. This incident occurred scarcely two days after the abduction of 15 women and one man from the Dogon-Noma community within the same local government area.

Addressing the press, Harisu Dari, an official of the Kajuru-Station Youths, he said;

“Two days ago, 15 women and a man were abducted in the Dogon-Noma community of Kajuru. There is no contact yet with the 87 persons abducted on Sunday night.

As of the time I visited the community this morning, security operatives have not been drafted to help restore the confidence of the villagers.

The villagers are traumatised by the sad development. The government needs to re-strategize in tackling these terrorists,” Dari said
