“It is your Job to protect the people and you failed” – FFK slams Defence Minister for saying Nigerians should not to be cowards when attacked by bandits
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has slammed the Defence Minister, Maj- Gen. Bashir Magashi after he asked Nigerians not to be cowards when attacked by bandits.
The Minister had told Nigerians not be cowards and face these bandits as they sometimes possess few rounds of ammunition.
Reacting to this, FFK questioned if Magashi knew he has failed in his job of protecting Nigerians. He also expressed confidence in Nigerians not running if they were equipped with guns.
He tweeted;
“The Defence Minister says Nigerians are cowards, that they always run when attacked by terrorists & that they should defend & protect themselves. Does he know that it is HIS job to protect the people & he failed? Equip every Nigerian with an AK 47 & see if they will still run.
Not only him, this administration has failed completely, they don’t even care about what we are passing through right now.
They have totally failed on security issues in the country and if we still see someone to defend their people, you will be the first person to castigate the person.
I don’t think this present administration has something to offer in terms of everything because the way everything is going it may escalate to civil war.
that is true and they have failed us woefully….
The federal government should declare state of emergency on the issue of security instead of protecting ourselves because it won’t go well if we start doing so.
